Our experience is key because the telecom industry is in a state of turmoil! Since the breakup of the AT&T “Ma Bell” monopoly back in 1984, the industry has evolved to having over 2000 telecom vendors and a dearth of technology companies all vying for market share. Businesses and non-profits are inundated with offers from these suppliers to address their telecommunications needs. Mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies and the ongoing price wars make it extremely difficult for customers to keep up and make informed decisions on vendors for their Telecom services.  As a result, most customers are paying 20-50% more than they should be.

  • Chris Drake, President – TeleWise Solutions, has over 20 years in the telecom industry. Chris has worked with legacy voice, data, internet, wireless and Voice over IP technologies. As Vice President, leading the largest business unit at Sonus Networks, Chris was responsible for global expansion and growing market share for a broad portfolio of Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions. While at Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore), Chris was General Manager of the Interconnection Solutions business unit. Chris also served in various senior management positions at Nortel Networks including Director for eBusiness Solutions. Chris has been published in various Telecommunications magazines and has given Telecommunications seminars to government officials and Telecom executives in North America, South America, South-East Asia and Africa.
